Same as any other country, indonesia has a rules that had to be followed when you want to import an item, there is 4 qualification that will be mentioned according to the regulations of the Minister of Trade : 01/M-DAG/PER/1/2007 dated January 22, 2007.

 It said that the export goods are classified into four groups, namely:

1. Types of goods that listed in export trade system

These types of items can only be exported by registered exporters only.
"Exporters listed" is a companies or individuals who have earned recognition from the Ministry of Trade for exporting certain goods in accordance with the specified conditions

An item can be clasified in this category based on several consideration  :

• Increase of foreign exchange earnings and competitiveness 
• Bound by international agreements 
• The preservation of nature 
• Availability of raw materials 

Item that classified in this category :

• Agriculture Product : coffee Roasted /  Non Roasted, processed coffee
• Forestry products: rattan or wood products 
• Industrial Products: acetic anhydride, phenylacetic acid, ephedrine, acetone, butanol 
• Mining Products: diamonds, tin, gold 

2. The type of goods that has limitation in exporting 
Goods in this qualification can be done by exporters who have received export approval from the Ministry of Commerce or authorized officials.

• Animal Products: cattle, cows, buffalo, crocodile leather, wet blue, wild animals and plants
